Here’s why the NCLC career fair is a must-attend:

  • Internship Opportunities: LID Landscapes actively seeks interns and career-driven individuals. We offer several different internships each season so college students can get hands-on experience in the industry from construction to maintenance and landscape design.
  • Career Opportunities: Our goal is to inspire students to envision a future with LID Landscapes. Whether they’re looking to sell projects and manage clients, install and manage landscape projects, or design green spaces, the NCLC Career Fair is the number one recruiting opportunity to fill those open positions in our growing company.
  • Industry Networking: The introductions to industry professionals that take place at this event serve as the building blocks for many students' future careers. The relationships and mentorship offered by LID Landscapes will help graduating students enter the industry with the confidence and perspective necessary for long-term success.

LID Awarding Scholarships Through NCLC:

If networking, competing, and carving out a clear career path aren’t sufficient incentives for students, perhaps scholarships can provide that extra boost! The National Collegiate Landscape Competition (NCLC), organized by the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP), not only fosters companionship and skill development but also offers valuable scholarships to deserving students.

Scholarships:
  • The NALP Foundation has awarded over 1.8 million in scholarships to more than 1,500 horticulture and landscape students.

  • James Martin Associates (our parent company) and LID Landscapes have actively supported the NCLC for over 30 years by being proud ambassadors and awarding over $15,000 to deserving students during the NCLC Event.
